Freddie used to carry a shoulder bag.

June 13, 2020   Seraja   3

Freddie used to carry a shoulder bag. There he would always have the latest copy of ‘Architectural Digest’, a little mirror, a hairbrush in case he’s travelled somewhere and had to make sure he looked fine. Strepsils (throat lozenges), cigarettes, a lighter, and his birthday book. It was a little book with cloth cover and he had everybody’s birthday listed. If he met someone he liked he would take out the book and add in their birthday. He always had his birthday book. He wanted to make sure he never missed a friends birthday, it was a big thing for him. He would also send a personal note after a lovely dinner. He was a real gentleman.

When I have a relationship, it is never a half-hearted one

When I have a relationship, it is never a half-hearted one. I don’t believe in half measures or compromise. I just can’t bear to compromise about anything. I give everything I’ve got because that’s the way I am. I try to hold back when I’m attracted to someone, but I just can’t control love. It runs riot. I fall in love far too quickly and end up getting hurt all the time. Maybe I just draw the wrong kind of people to me? I’ve got scars all over. But I can’t help myself because basically I’m a softie.

1979 Queen receive a prize for the album “News Of The World”.
In the pictures with them a 17 year old young fan named Manuela Scarpel.
Then Manuala studied in Zurich, and was the winner of a Gold Record of Queen match, in a week they organized the meeting with the band at the Hallenstadion in Zurich . Manuela was joined by her father Tomaso, Queen fans who followed the band wherever they played.

He was very proud of his daughter to see her so happy with a shining light in her eyes.
Manuela has a Queen room where she hangs the disc in the middle of the wall and her record collection everywhere.
The father remembers how friendly they were to them, even though he and his wife didn’t speak English, but the daughter translated it for them.
Manuela is now an adult, and she keeps that record as if it were a relic, and still moves to this day to remember that beautiful night.
Thank you for these wonderful testimonials.
